twiddla
Twiddla is a free, no-setup, web-based meeting playground.

Twiddla
is basically an online white-board on steroids. Your basic web white-board is a step up from text message chatting where you can not only type, but also have basic drawing tools and the ability to import images.

So, why would you use this tool or any online white board?
The answer is simple really, it can be very hard or tedious to describe details through only one of the following text, images, or a phone call. This tool adds all three together with extra value to boot. If a picture is worth a thousand words, an online collaborative, real-time drawing program is priceless.

Twiddla really does take whiteboards to the next level with new web-browsing capabilities, public/private sessions, participant tracking and ability to turn on voice chat as well, just to mention a few.

screen shotI found the web-browsing option particularly interesting as I wish I had known about it sooner. You can pull up any website to discuss, the layout, the content on it or anything else you can think of. I have recently been using it to help my brother review his personal website and it is a great way to give real-time feedback and with the voice chatting my long distance bill was $0.00. :)
