Midterm Course Feedback Surveys Many academics see midterm course feedback surveys as a great way to strengthen the student-teacher relationship as well as provide valuable information about the course and how students are performing in it. The surveys provide a way for instructors to gain feedback on the course while it is still in progress, enabling them to act on the student feedback and make any necessary changes to the course. Midterm feedback surveys also provide a great way to strengthen the student-teacher relationship by demonstrating that the professor actually cares about how their students are learning and is willing to take steps to improve upon it.
